Police say that a Langama bus has caught fire near the Beliatta entrance of the Southern Expressway.
It is said that all the occupants of the burning bus were taken off the bus and none of the passengers were injured.
The bus has completely caught fire and police special task force officers have worked to extinguish the fire.
Due to this, the expressway section from Beliaatta entrance to Kasagala entrance is closed and the police say that the vehicles taken out from Kasagala entrance will be re-entered from Beliaatta entrance.
