The Supreme Court today (31) heard two petitions filed by former parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra and her mother Swarna Premachandra challenging the decision. Hirunika Premachandra is the daughter of Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra. The Supreme Court has given years to proceed with both the cases and the Supreme Court has also ordered that Duminda Silva be banned from traveling abroad. He has also demanded that his passport be confiscated.
