Cabinet approves new education reforms in 2023 and 2024
The National Institute of Education is working to introduce educational reforms to create an education system for a country with a talented group of children that will be able to find successful solutions to the challenges facing the 21st century. These reforms are designed to introduce significant changes in curriculum and teaching strategies. The proposed reforms are expected to be introduced in 2023 for grades 1, 2, 6, 8 and 10 and in 2024 for grades 3, 4, 5, 7 and 11. The Cabinet approved the proposal made by the Minister of Education. As the present staff of the National Institute of Education is not sufficient for that purpose, 150 experienced teachers with expertise in the relevant subject who are serving as teachers in government schools are to be attached to the National Institute of Education.
