A group of teachers and principals have staged a protest in front of the Pattirippuwa National School in the Batticaloa District yesterday evening amidst heavy rains.
It was organized by the Batticaloa branch of the Sri Lanka Teachers’ Union and was attended by teachers and principals, including Ponnathurai Udayarupan, the president of the association.
The protest rally which started in front of the Pattirippuwa National School has gone to the Pattirippuwa Zonal Office and raised its voice.
