The Sri Lanka team and the Pakistan team have qualified for the finals of the 2022 Asia Cup 2020 cricket tournament.
In the Super Four round match held yesterday (07), the Pakistan team defeated the Afghanistan team and won by one wicket.
The Afghanistan team batted first and at the end of 20 overs scored 129 runs for the loss of 06 wickets.
The Pakistani team entered the field for the reply innings and managed to record the victory by losing 09 wickets in 19 overs and 02 balls.
Thus, the Indian team and the Afghanistan team have to withdraw from the Asia Cup with 02 more matches remaining in the Super Four round.
Meanwhile, the Asia Cup final match is scheduled to be held between Sri Lanka and Pakistan on Sunday.
