Foreign media reports that about 300,000 teaching professionals in England and Wales engaged in a massive strike demanding a salary increase. Civil servants from 120 government agencies, teachers from 150 universities, train and bus drivers joined the strike. The strike is done. Foreign media further reports that due to this strike, the activities of several schools in the country were disrupted and 5 schools had to be closed.
This is reported to be the biggest strike in Britain in decades.
