It is reported that the Department of Motor Transport has announced that an agreement will be reached so that Sri Lankans leaving for British jobs as well as tourists coming to this country from Britain will be able to use their driving licenses in the respective countries.
Accordingly, the driving license commissioner of the motor transport department Mr. Wasantha Ariyaratne stated that both of these groups have the ability to use the driver’s license without appearing for a training test.
