The Ministry of Education has announced the manner in which schools will be conducted during the week from 27th June 2022 to 1st July 2022.

The relevant announcement states,

  1. 2020/06/20 to 20222/06/24 Schools which do not have transport facilities for students and teachers should be maintained as usual in the schools of the rural schools and if there are any teachers in these schools who have transport difficulties then the principal exempts those teachers from personal leave. Flexible schedules are set.
  2. Schools in urban areas that were not held last week should be held three days a week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In these schools, the principal has the power to decide on the number of days that the primary sections will be held.

Learning activities are continued through online teaching / assignments / home-based activities for students’ non-attendance days.

03. This day will not be considered as a private holiday for teachers who do not attend school due to transportation difficulties.
