“Currently, there are 3,000 vacancies for family health service officers all over the island. If this continues, if the vacancies in family health service continue to increase, if recruitment does not take place, maternal and child health in this country will collapse. This health service is run by door-to-door health officers If there is a shortage and this service collapses, maternal and child health will definitely collapse. We emphasize that it is still collapsing. It is the responsibility of the Minister of Health to recruit family health officers as soon as possible.”
