The Department of Meteorology has predicted that there may be some rain in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts today (29).
Also, there may be rain or thundershowers in the evening or night in a few places in North, East, North Central and Uva provinces.
The Department of Meteorology kindly requests the people to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may accompany thunderstorms.
