Yesterday (01) evening, a person was killed in Medagoda area of Ruwanwella police domain.
It is reported that the killing took place after an argument went too far.
The deceased was a 33-year-old resident of Medagoda Amitirigala area.
It is reported that the 118 Police Emergency Call Unit received a complaint from the Ruwanwella Police that a dispute had broken out in a house in Medagoda.
It is reported that the deceased person was drinking alcohol at home with his elder brother and another person and it has been reported that the murder was carried out after an argument that took place.
Also, it is reported that the suspect involved in the incident has fled the area by now.
The Ruwanwella Police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
