AN ADVENTUROUS WORK FROM A TEACHER WHO MAKES TEACHERS.

University lecturers working in four universities in Sri Lanka and their friends from all over the world as well as nearly 200 philanthropists connected through social media networks have started a housing project for low income families in the Saliyapura area in Anuradhapura with their generous donations.

The seventh completed house in the housing project was handed over today (21) to a low income family residing at Anuradhapura, Saliyapura, Kattamankulama, Pansalwatta.

Prof. Indika Prasanna, Dr. Shiromi Dissanayake, Dr. Irangani, Dr. Udurawana, Dr. Sanjaya Fernando, Dilan Sri Lal and Pushpa Gunawardena are leading this housing project.

In the face of the existingCcovid risk, following the prescribed health guidelines, only a few members of this group participated. This function was very simple and all the religious rites were performed by the Chief Incumbent of Sarada Rajamaha Vihara, Mankadawala, Ven. Gunaratne Nayaka Thero.
