The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement stating that the Government of Sri Lanka is deeply concerned about the recent escalation of violence in Ukraine.
The statement said,
“Sri Lanka urges all concerned to work with maximum restraint to maintain peace, security and stability in the region and to take immediate action to end hostilities.”
Sri Lanka further emphasized the need for a concerted effort by all stakeholders to resolve this crisis through diplomacy and honest dialogue.
