Dr. Pradeep de Silva, President of the Institute of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, says that the rumors that women are becoming infertile due to the Covid vaccine are completely untrue.
He further stated that there are no complications due to the Cyanoform vaccine recommended for pregnant mothers in Sri Lanka. Accordingly, a request was made to the women of this country to take immediate action to obtain the Covid vaccine without any hesitation.
However, about 700 pregnant mothers in Sri Lanka have contracted the disease and 19 of them have died so far.
