It is reported that 07 students have been arrested for assaulting a group of second year students of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sabaragamuwa University.
The police said that they will be produced before the Balangoda Magistrate’s Court today (12).
A group of second year students of Sabaragamu University’s Faculty of Agriculture were attacked last Friday night while they were having food at the cafeteria.
It is said that a female student and two male students who were injured in the attack are currently receiving treatment at Pambahinna and Balangoda hospitals.
The police said that the students involved in the attack were arrested after surrendering to the police.
