The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority states that 102,545 tourists have visited the island in January this year. It is reported that 25,254 of those tourists came from Russia, 13,759 from India, 8,483 from Britain and 8,216 from Germany. Apart from this, tourists from countries like Australia, America, Maldives, Israel, Canada and France have also come to the island, according to Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.
Only 82,327 tourists have come to Diyina in January last year. But there is an increase in the arrival of tourists in January of this year.
