It is reported that a person involved in the incident of killing a couple and robbing them of money and a gold necklace has been arrested in Settikulama area.
The murder had been carried out in a shop in that area on the 30th and the Settikulama Police had started investigations to arrest the suspects involved. Accordingly, a wanted 19-year-old youth was arrested yesterday (01) in Kilinochchi, Urittikulam area.
He is a resident of Setitkulam area.
During the questioning of the suspect, the clothes he was wearing at the time of the crime and a part of a stolen gold necklace were found in a bag and left in a well.
