In the first four months of this year, the Ceylon Petroleum Statutory Corporation has made a profit of 4,340 crore rupees, it has been stated in the state financial status report released in the middle of this year.
Accordingly, during the first four months of this year, crude oil import was 277.1 million dollars, mineral oil import was 1,009.3 million dollars and the total value of petroleum products imported by the Petroleum Corporation was 877.35 million dollars. It is reported that 1,599.7 has been spent, which is 30% of the total import cost.
