Yesterday (08) morning, in the Perawatta area of Embilipitiya, Middeniya road in Ambilipitiya police domain, a bus traveling from Embilipitiya towards Middeniya collided head-on with a three-wheeler coming from the opposite direction. It is reported that the driver died while being admitted to the hospital.
A 50-year-old resident of Bukandaya, Katuwana area has lost his life.
The dead body has been deposited in Embilipitiya General Hospital and the bus driver has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Embilipitiya police are conducting further investigations.
