A change in electricity consumption this year.

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka stated that electricity consumption has decreased by 12% this year.
Janaka Ratnayake, chairman of the Public Utilities Commission, pointed out that the statements made by the Ceylon Electricity Board that there will be a drought in the coming year are baseless.
