Based on information received by the Negombo Police, it is reported that a dead body of a woman was found in the lagoon behind the court complex in the Negombo Police Domain.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed and is suspected to be between 40-45 years old. It is also said to be a woman about 5 feet tall wearing a white and black striped T-shirt and a black skirt.
It is reported that an autopsy has been conducted on the dead body and it has been deposited in the Negombo Hospital mortuary, and further investigations are being carried out by the Negombo Police.
