A case of an unborn twin fetus implanted in the brain of a one-year-old female child has been reported from China.
This was revealed after a research conducted due to the slowing down of the child’s physical activity and the enlargement of the head, and due to the constant blood supply, there was no growth in the fetus even though there was life and the doctors defined it as a rare case of an embryo implanted in an embryo.
It has been reported that the reason for this condition is that the cells formed after fertilization of the sperm and egg fail to separate properly.
