It is reported that a 13-year-old girl has lost her life in a car accident.
The accident took place last night (04) at Kattua area of Colombo Halawata Road in Negombo Police Domain.
A container truck traveling from Halawatha towards Colombo collided with a motorcycle traveling in the same direction and the accident took place.
The motorcyclist and her daughter, who were injured in the accident, died after being admitted to Negombo Hospital.
The police stated that the deceased was a 13-year-old girl residing in Katukenda Dankotuwa area.
It is said that further investigations are underway regarding the accident.
