It is reported that the Wattegama Police have arrested three suspects who assaulted a doctor who did not give permission to a group of people who came to visit a patient undergoing residential treatment at the Wattegama Hospital at night.
The doctor who was attacked in this way received treatment at Wattegama Hospital and was transferred to Matale Hospital for further treatment.
Reportedly, this group, which came at night, tried to visit the patient and the doctor did not give permission at that time. The doctor was assaulted after an argument ensued.
It is reported that the arrested suspects are scheduled to be produced in court today.
