It is reported that a three-wheeler in which a group of a family was traveling veered off the road and fell down a cliff about 50 feet and the group was hospitalized.
Three people, including a one-and-a-half-year-old child who was traveling in the three-wheeler, were injured and admitted to Dik Oya Base Hospital.
The Norwood police say that the three-wheeler which was traveling from Bagwantlawa, Mora Watta to Hatton, ran off the road in the Hatton, Bagwantlawa main road, Norwood, Saint John Tillery Watta area, and the accident occurred.
At the time of the accident, the same family was traveling in the three-wheeler and the father, mother and one-and-a-half-year-old child were injured and taken to the hospital.
The tricycle has been severely damaged in the accident and the Norwood Police are conducting further investigations into the accident.
