It is reported that five youths have been arrested for kicking one student with a helmet and hand while the other student stood in the way of another student after a conversation between two students at the school.
A group of youths residing in Pinwatta, Meegahakowila Road and its surroundings have been arrested and it is said that among those arrested are school students who were involved in the dispute.
The police say that the suspects assaulted the student who was on his way home from school on the afternoon of the 21st and were arrested while he was evading the police for about 10 days, and the helmet used in the attack was also taken into police custody.
