Farmers are reportedly alleging massive deforestation in the forest conservation trigger zone adjacent to the Yala National Park.
The farmers of that area say that this work is being done by misusing the loan aid given by the World Bank to boost the local agriculture industry, and that this ecosystem is home to many kinds of birds such as leopards, elephants, deer, elks, pigs, and so on. Due to this forest killing, the lives of many wild animals have been seriously threatened.
