It is reported that a child who got 182 marks in the scholarship examination and entered Ananda Vidyalaya Colombo died after being admitted to the Homagama Base Hospital in an accident that occurred near the Meegoda Junction on the High Level Road due to the careless driving of an unruly drunk driver.
Vinidu Satsara, a resident of Hettiyawatta area of Megoda, who studied in the sixth year of Ananda Vidyalaya, Colombo, has lost his life.
The father of the child and the person driving the car are receiving treatment at the Homagama Base Hospital and the police have stated that the car and the three-wheeler in which the deceased child came were severely damaged.
