It is reported that a meeting between President Ranil Wickramasinghe and Podujana Peramuna’s national organizer Basil Rajapaksa took place at the President’s residence in Colombo last night (7).
This is the first time Mr. Basil Rajapaksa has met the President after coming to this country from America.
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa also participated in this meeting.
Political sources say that discussions have taken place regarding future political measures and the two sides have reached an agreement for another future discussion.
