It is reported that a person has attacked another person with a sharp weapon in the area near the Grandpass, New Kelani bridge, yesterday (16th) night.
A 33-year-old resident of Sedawatta area was killed in the murder.
The suspect who committed the murder committed the murder with a sharp weapon after an argument when he asked the deceased for his cell phone and two suspects have been arrested by the Grandpass Police.
It is also reported that the arrested suspects are 18-year-old residents of Colombo 14 and Wellampitiya area.
Grandpass Police is conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
