A NEW INSECT THAT DESTROYS COCONUTS FROM GALLE.

It is reported that Mr. H.G. Hemantha, the Galle Regional Manager of the Coconut Development Board, has stated that a new insect that can cause damage to coconut cultivation in this country has been discovered for the first time in Galle and more than 4000 coconut trees have been identified.
