A new office of the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs has been opened to start the work of the Haj Committee officials appointed to provide services to the Islamic pilgrims and it is reported that Buddhasasana Religious and Cultural Affairs Minister Mr. Vidura Wickramanayake participated in the event.
Speaking on that occasion, the minister said that arrangements were made to provide maximum service to the Islamic devotees leaving the country for the pilgrimage to Mecca.
