Alawatugoda – A 9 junction – Welikanda junction, the driver of the Primeur belonging to the army, which was running from Pallekele to Jaffna, was unable to control the vehicle and collided with two motorcycles coming from the opposite direction. The deceased is said to be a 58-year-old resident of Ukuwela area.
It is reported that the driver of the Primor car has been arrested in connection with this incident and further investigations are being carried out by the Alavathugoda Police.
