It is reported that two unknown persons who came on a motorcycle in the Fortila area of Wellampitiya police domain have run away with a man.
The Police Media Division stated that a 28-year-old man from Wellampitiya area was injured in a shooting last night (07) and he was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.
It is also reported that a T56 firearm was used for the shooting and that the shooting was conducted by a foreigner and that the Wellampitiya police are conducting further investigations to arrest the suspects.
