It is reported that a person has died after being hit by a train near Wellawa Nelumpathgama railway station, Kurunegala, last night (16).
The police have stated that a 40-year-old resident of Nelumpathgama area has died after being hit by the train.
The police have stated that the post-mortem examination regarding the death will be conducted today (17) at the Kurunegala Hospital.
