It is reported that a person has died after being hit by a train in the Kirivallapitiya area of the Colombo – Kandy railway line in the Rambukkana police domain last night.
The identity of the person who has died has not been identified so far and he is said to be a 60-year-old man.
Rambukkana Police said that the dead body of the deceased has been deposited in the Kegalle Hospital and further investigations are being carried out regarding the incident.
