According to the report, a suspect has been arrested for stealing two idols and a small pagoda from a meditation center in Mulleriya area.
It is said that a statue of Lord Shiva worth seven lakhs, a statue of Lord Kataragama and a small pagoda have been stolen.
The Mulleriya police arrested the suspect last night and the police have stated that a case is being investigated in connection with his entering a business place and stealing property.
According to the report, the suspect is to be produced before the Aluthkade Magistrate Court.
