A PROPOSAL FROM THE AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT TO SRI LANKA.

The Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Mr. Paul Stevens, who commented further in this regard,

“Education is already a strong link between Sri Lanka and Australia and it can be further developed. We have submitted a proposal to the Sri Lankan government to make the country an education center because Sri Lanka is located in a place that can attract a large number of foreign students. Australian universities If foreign universities are established here and Sri Lanka becomes an educational hub, it can attract students not only from Sri Lanka but also from South India and other parts of India as well as from Nepal, Bangladesh and Africa. It has to be done. I am sure that Sri Lanka has great potential for that.”
