It is reported that the Minister of Transport Bandula Gunawardena said that since the bus drivers and conductors do not give the scheduled passenger transport fares to the depot, a system will be implemented this year for train and bus passengers to get the ticket for themselves through a QR system including new technology.
Also, the minister has stated that non-payment of scheduled passenger fares will not be tolerated in trains.
