It is reported that the local income tax department has made a request for people whose annual total income exceeds 12 lakhs to open an income tax file.
It has been announced by the Inland Revenue Department that it has been facilitated to open these income tax files by visiting the registration section established on the second floor of the Inland Revenue Department or by e-service or at the Inland Revenue Regional Offices.
