It is reported that Mrs. Dr. Champa Aluthweera, Director of the Anti-Malaria Campaign, stated that there is a risk of malaria spreading in Sri Lanka through people coming to Sri Lanka from countries where malaria is prevalent.
The movement has further mentioned that 6 lakh malaria patients have died in Asia during the last period and 37 malaria patients were diagnosed in this country last year.
