It is reported that two people have lost their lives in a shooting that took place in Auckland, New Zealand.
Foreign media have reported that the shooting took place about an hour before the start of the Women’s Football World Cup to be held in Auckland.
It is said that six people were injured in the firing and a police officer was also among them.
However, New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins has stated that the related shooting is not an act of terrorism and the football tournament will be held as planned.
