It is reported that a three-wheeler which was running on the road near the Katukurunda petrol station collided with three other three-wheelers and a motorcycle parked on the side of the road.
A three-wheeler traveling with a Russian couple who came to visit this country has met with an accident and it is said that the couple and another woman were injured and hospitalized.
The three-wheeler carrying the foreign couple from a tourist hotel in Waskaduwa to visit Siri in Hikkaduwa collided with three three-wheelers and two motorcycles parked near the Katukurunda petrol station.
The police suspected that the driver of the tricycle in which the Russian couple was traveling fell asleep as the cause of the accident and the driver has been arrested in connection with the accident.
