It is reported that a special meeting has been held between the heads of the government agencies for the process of obtaining and extending the necessary licenses and approvals from various government agencies to implement renewable energy projects under the leadership of Minister Kanchana Wijesekera.
It is reported that 330 projects included in the 2023-2026 plan by the Electricity Board and Sunitya Energy Authority are expected to be implemented in the future.
It is stated that officials representing the Ministry of Electricity, Electricity Board, Solar Energy Authority, Environment Authority, etc. have participated in this event.
