It is reported that Inspector General of Police Deshbandu Tennakoon has given instructions to take all necessary measures so that the crimes that happened in the Southern Province do not happen again.

Inspector General of Police Deshbandu Tennakoon visited the concerned areas yesterday (13) to investigate the shooting incidents in Galle and Elpitiya Police Divisions and then a discussion was held with senior police officers of Galle and Elpitiya Divisions at Kosgoda Police Station.
