Dehiwala Police said that a person residing in a house on Galwala Road, Dehiwala, was arrested at a special roadblock on Dehiwala Galwala Road, along with 16 empty magazines of T56 live bullets, a stock of ganja and ice drugs, suspected of belonging to an underworld group.
Along with the suspect, in addition to magazines, 3 kilos of ganja, 416 grams and 40 grams of ice drugs have been taken into police custody.
In conjunction with the justice operation, a special roadblock was used on Dehiwala Galwala road last night (10) to check suspicious vehicles and the suspect was arrested with 2 kilos of ganja and 40 grams of ice drug during the search. Police said that during the operation, they found another kilo of ganja, 416 grams and the stock of magazines contained in three parcels under a bed.
