Kristalina Georgieva, head of the International Monetary Fund, said that 2023 will be a more difficult year for the entire world than 2022.
She pointed out that the reason for this is the slow growth in the United States, the European Union and China.
Last October, the International Monetary Fund announced that global economic growth moderated to 2.7% due to the Ukraine war and high interest rates.
And she further pointed out that China, the world’s second largest economy, eased its Covid health policies and the number of infected people increased after 40 years.
Meanwhile, she also stated that the Ukraine war has had a severe impact on the economy of the European Union and is showing signs of a severe economic recession.
