The Department of Wildlife Conservation has started a new program to reduce the elephant-human conflict, and for this, 16 elephant stands are to be opened for returning wild elephants, the Department of Wildlife Conservation stated.
They further stated that discussions are currently being held regarding the removal of the people residing in the elephants. They also hope to inform the people about this program.
Under this program, they hope to open several elephant malls for wild elephants this year.
