A STOCK OF INSULIN PACKS IS IMPORTED.

It is reported that Dr. Saman Ratnayake, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Health, said that a stock of 275,000 insulin packs, which were in short supply in the country, had been imported to the island and their distribution to hospitals has already started.

He also mentioned that the number of missing drugs in the medical supply sector has also decreased by 231, that 38 more types of drugs that are in short supply in this country will be delivered to the island within the next fortnight, and that hospitals are currently short of only 78 types of drugs.
