It is reported that a 14-year-old student has died after being hit by a train.
It is said that the accident took place near Tambalagamuwa Mollipothana railway station.
The police said that the student was hit by the train running from Gelioya to Trincomalee.
The deceased was a student residing in Unit 07 Mollipothana area.
Tambalagamuwa Police is conducting further investigations.
